You were in a cave when you met a guy.
"I've been waiting for you." He said.
"What am I doing here?" You asked.
"Come follow me..." He said.
As you were walking you looked around you, this place was dark, and enormous.
You had this sudden sense of familiarity, its like you've been here countless times.
You followed him as if you trusted him, with no certain questions in your head,
as if you knew where you were heading.
"We're here." He said.
You see a dark tunnel, and a door to which where this guy was standing next to.
"What's this?" You asked.
He said, "Are you ready to leave this place?"
"Well I don't plan to stay..." You replied.
He said, "You've been here before, over and over again you tried to get out, but you
never really left."
Startled and confused, you said, "I don't even know how I got here."
"That's not what's important", he replied. "So are you ready to leave?"
"I think so..." You said.
He then explained, " This in my hand is the only key for this door, I will throw it far in that dark tunnel, all you have to do is get it and free your self out."
"But it's too dark, I won't be able to find it." You replied.
He said, "You have a candle and a match in your pocket, and you don't need to worry about finding the key,
just walk head on with the light and it'll be there."
He threw the key pretty far out, and you started having doubts. Despite all, you began to walk to it,
knowing that it's the only way out...
He said, "Before you go, I must warn you that in there lies something you fear the most, you don't know its size, you don't know what it looks like, you don't know what it's capable of, but you've seen it, countless times."
"Why tell me this now!?!?" You said.
He replied, "What difference does it make? If you stay in this place any longer, it will eventually get you. This is, the only way out..."
At this point, you're very terrified. But in desperation, you began to head in, and every slow step you took then causes you to tremble, the thoughts in the back of your head are pulling you right back. With very little light you pushed forward, shaking, unsure of what was going to happen. You can't help but think about what's there waiting, until suddenly you saw a light far out from a distance. You followed it, and the closer you are to it the bigger the light gets.... But after a few several horrifying step, you then eventually came across something you never expected !
You found a huge mirror, and saw the reflection of your self holding a candle with the key right in front of you. Relieved, still baffled, you stared at yourself.
The guy whispers out of thin air, "Who were you really afraid of?"
In silence you asked him, "who are you?"
To which he replied, "You're looking right at me."
