I'm sure we all can agree that morality and legality do not always align perfectly. For instance, all of the atrocities committed by such people as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot were all "legal."
I've recently been thinking about the morality-legality dichotomy in regards to vigilantism. While vigilantism is illegal (and should be to prevent chaos,) would you consider vigilantism moral when the criminal justice system fails to do its job adequately?
